Hypnosis launches latest ‘Don’t buy, until you Bazaar’ brand campaign for Furniture Bazaar
Covid was good for Australian retailers but lockdowns are over and interest rates are up. Consumer confidence is slowing, shifting from ‘splashing out’ to ‘savvy spending’. Enter stage right – Furniture Bazaar. The West Australian brand that’s made for these conditions.
The Don’t buy, until you Bazaar positioning has already started to shift the needle in sales. But Furniture Bazaar’s unprompted recall has stagnated over the years. So the challenge was to position the brand as the place to discover quality and value. To shift the perceptions of the brand from yet another furniture retailer to a mandatory destination for any savvy shopper before they make the decision to buy.
Hypnosis noticed some rather bizarre furniture buying behaviour going on. Things like waiting months for a couch to arrive, having to make your own furniture, and well, simply paying too much. The idea was to highlight this bizarreness and compare them to the smart and savvy behaviour of buying at Furniture Bazaar. In doing so, making Furniture Bazaar the obvious choice.
The campaign launches with the 30 sec film on BVOD and will be rolling out across digital and social channels. 15 sec spots per key category and a myriad of social posts and assets will follow. It was developed in partnership with production company Rhythm Films, and media partners Mentor Marketing & Bonfire.
