Hannah Muirhead leaves the Head of Brand Strategy role at The Brand Agency

The Brand Agency’s Head of Brand Strategy Hannah Muirhead has resigned from the agency after nearly eight years. Her last day at the agency was Friday last week.

Muirhead joined The Brand Agency in 2016 from Meerkats where she worked on campaigns for clients such as iiNet, Mrs Macs and Murdoch University. In 2021 she was elevated from Strategy Director to Head of Brand Strategy.

Nick Bayes, Managing Director, The Brand Agency, said: “Hannah has done a great job for us over the past seven years. She’s been a big part of the agency’s success and has helped nurture the amazing talent we have in the strategy team. We wish her well for the future and I’m sure she’ll continue to go from strength to strength”.

Muirhead told Campaign Brief that after nearly eight huge and successful years at the agency, she decided it was time “to push myself out of the nest”.

“It was a bittersweet decision, as I have been so lucky to work with some of the best in the business at Brand from both an internal and a client perspective,” she said.

“Highlights include winning some of WA’s most coveted pitches, including RAC and Tourism WA, working on campaigns that are helping to transform WA’s road safety record with Road Safety Commission, working with some of the legends in the broader WPP network on the Bankwest brand, and, of course, winning numerous Gold Effies for Foodbank WA.”

“I’ve also really enjoyed shaping the strategic offering at The Brand Agency alongside Matt, Nick, and Steve. It is with a very heavy heart that I leave these brilliant people behind.”

Muirhead is currently consulting to a few scale-ups and looking forward to seeing where her next adventure takes her.
