Gatecrasher turns 20
Gatecrasher Advertising celebrated their 20th anniversary with a fun gathering at Besk in West Leederville with all past and present staff invited.
There was a lot of love in the room from past staff members in attendance who all commented on the great culture that existed in the agency – a credit to agency founders (pictured above) Adam Barker, Tony Scampoli and Lori Canalini.
Across four different Subiaco locations, Gatecrasher has worked with many of the State’s largest and most prestigious clients from all sectors including NGO, Corporate, Retail and Government. Many will remember that within just 12 months of opening its doors, the agency was working with HBF, Road Safety Commission and Cancer Council WA (today, two of those remain core partnerships). Others soon followed including Curtin Uni, WA Police, Bedshed and Burswood.

Well done on a successful twenty years Gatecrashers. It will be interesting to see how the agency transitions into the next ten years. Who are the future leaders who will take over and drive the business forward in the same way as has happened at Meerkats with Gavin, Marketforce with Dixie and at 303 with Todd and Rene. It presents a great opportunity for a group of young leaders and emerging leaders to take charge and build it to the next level.
A model agency, always producing good work. Congrats!
Great team! Congratulations Tony, Adam and Lori.
I remember a young Adam at Masius with his cravat and pipe. He must of been about 19. You did well kid.
Congrats Tony, Adam & Lori.
My first real agency gig, learning the tools of the trade. So many great memories and best of all, the incredible friends to come from it.
@Emma Baston.
Gatecrasher is truly an agency built on good work, not good luck. Congratulations on this impressive milestone, Adam, Lori and Tony.
Thanks Rob, yes I was on work experience and I remember you too. You were the young hot shot who wowed me with your TV scripts for a pitch. I can still remember one of the concepts.
Congrats Gatecrasher on 20 great years!
Gatecrasher was the first place to give a baby (and somewhat useless) Edge a stint as a work experience kid. I am forever grateful.
Gutted I missed this! So many familiar faces in these photos giving me great flashbacks.
I´ll be forever grateful for my first foot in the door, and to have worked at this amazing agency with some of the most talented and lovely people in the industry.
Well wishes from Iceland 🙂
Well done lads. That’s a great milestone. Congratulations.
