Gage Roads Brew Co launches new corporate website via The Brand Agency

As part of a rapid business expansion, including plans to push more into the East Coast market and today’s highly anticipated brewery opening at the A Shed in Freo, Gage Roads Brew Co needed to completely re-design its corporate website.

 

The Brand Agency was engaged to create a new web experience from the ground up that better reflected the organisation’s core brand values and allow for long-term functional scalability. Quite simply, the solution needed to transcend the digital space and bring to life the moment of freedom that the first sip of cold beer feels like, capturing it through the lens of Gage Road’s existing brand and product personalities.

Bec Lauchlan, Gage Roads Brew Co, Brand Lead, said: “Gage Roads has seen a huge amount of growth over the past few years and with that came a need to really step up our website offering, notably to accommodate a digital home for our new waterside brewery at Freo’s iconic A Shed”.

For the design, The Brand Agency connected the coastal lifestyle brand essence (utilising Gage Roads’ image library) and laid-back messaging that would resonate with a variety of audiences. Whilst at the same time leverage the well-established illustrative style from Gage Roads’ packaging design. A new visual language and design system was also created to define and build the new UI components and page layouts.
