Emma Cooper leaves OMD WA after 4 years
OMD WA head Emma Cooper has resigned from her Group Communications Director role to take a break before considering her future career step.
Cooper started at OMD four years ago as a key lead on their major accounts as well as recently launching Hearts and Science into the Perth market. She has had a long career in media starting 19 years ago at Channel Nine. She worked at the Brand Agency and for both Initiative and Maxus before working in the United States as a Senior Strategist.
“I have really enjoyed my time at OMD and Hearts and Science and am proud of the work that I delivered for my clients,” said Cooper. “Adam Marshall and the team have been incredibly supportive of me. I felt as though it was the right time to look for a new challenge.”
Marketforce Group CEO Adam Marshall said he was very grateful for Cooper’s hard work and wished her all the best for future.
“Em is a dedicated professional who always goes over and above,” said Marshall. “She is an adept strategist, a tough negotiator and a proven problem solver. The service Em gives her clients is exceptional, and she works tirelessly to exceed their expectations. There are many examples of her diligence I could reference but none stand out more than her opening her home to a client during Covid so they could produce a new TVC featuring her family while the industry was in lock down. She did this voluntarily and because she just wanted to help.”
