Collaborative partnership helps evolve the returning Emergence Festival for 2024
The return of Emergence Creative in 2024 is eagerly awaited, and with it comes an exciting new collaboration. thebox, EUSO Digital, bureau42 and Panda Candy are teaming up to give the festival a fresh ‘look and feel’ under the 2024 theme ‘It’s Time to Make Space.’
In this dynamic partnership, thebox takes the lead in reimagining the Emergence Creative brand and style, while EUSO Digital has been hard at work developing a brand-new festival website. bureau42 is leveraging its digital media expertise to enhance the festival’s digital presence, while the specifics of Panda Candy’s role are still under wraps.
Scott Robinson, founder of thebox and EUSO Digital, CoFounder of bureau42 and Panda Candy, is a central figure in this partnership. “It felt like a natural fit from every part of our Network – to find a unique way to ensure that we could pull together and use our combined skills while tapping into the local network.”
What sets this collaboration apart is the partners’ commitment to not just supporting but actively contributing content, injecting their creative spirit into the festival. This significance runs deep, as it was the relationships forged and shared experiences at past Emergence Festivals that brought the CoFounders of bureau42, Jon Ricciardone, and Panda Candy, Glenn Sarangapany, together with Scott Robinson, eventually leading to the creation of both businesses. Dune Haggar, thebox designer behind the new Emergence brand, also forged his connection with Robinson at Emergence, leading to a partnership that has spanned almost a decade.
Anita Pettit, Festival Director, said: “After a five-year break, Emergence is all set for an exciting comeback, refreshed by these new partnerships and a shared vision for its future. Our combined efforts have been key in giving the festival a new energy and direction.”
Festival Chair, Mat Lewis, said: “This collaboration captures what Emergence is all about – a hub for creative partnerships and surprise connections. It’s awesome to see our collective creativity take shape and we can’t wait to see it all come to life”.
Emergence, known for its ‘anti-conference’ format, is scheduled to return from March 19th to March 22nd in 2024. It promises a diverse range of keynote sessions, immersive workshops, pop-up installations, and satellite events, all set against the picturesque backdrop of the Margaret River region.
