Clockwork Films expands to Perth with executive producer Katie Trew at the helm

Clockwork Films has announced its expansion to Perth through a partnership with local executive producer Katie Trew.

Trew (centre), who has an impressive track record in the industry, will lead the West Coast office and spearhead Clockwork Films’ growth in the region. Trew’s extensive experience in working with production companies, agencies, and broadcasters has earned her a stellar reputation among peers, colleagues, and clients. In Perth she previously headed The Brand Agency’s in-house production company, King Street.

As a partner in Clockwork Films, Trew sees an opportunity to bring world-class production excellence to the Western Australian market, while also providing local directing talent with access to Clockwork Films’ other offices in Sydney, Auckland, London, and L.A.: “The opportunity to become a partner in Clockwork Films whilst based in my hometown of Perth is incredibly exciting,” says Trew. “We are uniquely placed to create outstanding campaigns and productions for our clients while also nurturing the growth of the creative industry in Western Australia.”

Founder Jamie Cohen (right) is equally thrilled about the expansion saying: “We are delighted to establish our presence in Perth, a city that has long been a hub of creative excellence. Our West Coast office will offer local creatives access to a diverse and highly regarded selection of directors, providing a platform for collaboration and innovation. We look forward to contributing to the growth of the creative production community across WA.”

Says Heath George (left), co-founder, Clockwork Films: “I have a lot of love for WA crew, the stunning locations, and world-class WAAPA actors. Partnering with Katie and investing in Perth’s local production industry is a no-brainer.”

The opening of Clockwork Films’ Perth office marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth and underscores its commitment to supporting the creative community across Australia.
