Clarity starts 25th year with key leadership appointments including Anne Gribble as CEO
As Clarity Communications (Clarity) celebrates 25 years in business, the consultancy has made new leadership appointments to continue its strategic growth.
After nine years working alongside and in a senior role at Clarity, Anne Gribble has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to guide the agency’s next phase of growth and lead its 26-strong team of experienced consultants and designers. Anne has an extensive consulting background in Western Australia and internationally, including many years in brand strategy and market research.
Hayley Cardy has been appointed to a new position of Communications Director in which she will lead a team of 12 specialist communications consultants. Hayley rejoins Clarity with extensive experience in senior corporate communications, including her most recent position as Group Manager of Communications at South32.
Bart Gardula, has been appointed to the new role of Design Director and will lead 12 designers, comprising one of WA’s most substantial corporate design and branding studios. Bart has been an integral part of Clarity’s success for the past 11 years and has extensive agency experience in WA and overseas.
Clarity’s Founders, Anthony Hasluck, Daniel Carroll, and Kellie Hasluck are delighted to see the next generation of leaders driving the day-to-day success of the company. The restructuring of the consultancy will allow Anthony and Daniel to spend more time focusing on Clarity’s growth and providing their considerable expertise to WA’s leading organisations to support them in solving complex reputational and brand challenges.
“Appointing new leaders for the growing Clarity team is the right way to start our 25th anniversary because it means we are focusing on the long-term role of our agency in the business community, while we celebrate our track record,” Anthony Hasluck.
“I’m excited to welcome Anne, Hayley and Bart to the Clarity leadership team. Together we will be continuing the high levels of creativity, collaboration and advice that Clarity is known for and that will ensure the ongoing success of our business,” Daniel Carroll.
The new leadership team includes a further four appointments and promotions. Liza White will become Director of Business Development having spent three years with Clarity as Client Relationship Manager. Sara Murray, who also returns to Clarity from senior corporate roles locally and overseas, joins Niall Naghten as Associate Directors of Communications, whilst Ashley Valmadre has been appointed as Design Manager.
Clarity officially opened its doors on 22 March 1999, and has cemented its position as one of Western Australia’s leading independent Communications agencies for over two decades. With expertise in renewable and natural resources, energy transition, agribusiness, property development and construction and healthcare sectors, Clarity looks forward to continuing to support its clients for years to come.

A great business occupying a unique spot in the market. Really good to see businesses like this stepping up and leaning in to transitions and future leadership as it isn’t something that is traditionally done well in our industry.
