Over the last few years, Business News has boosted the volume and quality of its content and substantially grown its business news reporting team in WA. They have also expanded how subscribers reach them daily, through digital channels, podcasts and a healthy calendar of inspiring events. With 26% year-on-year growth in subscriptions, over 5,500 WA businesses already registered, 40k email alerts, 50k podcast plays per month – Business News is known, respected and useful to a sizable population of business people in WA. However, this traditionally has existed in a concentrated C-Suite audience pool within what has now been determined as a much larger audience opportunity.

“Business News is looking ahead to the future, and we recognise that the business leaders of today aren’t necessarily going to be the business leaders of tomorrow. There’s a real strategic opportunity for Business News to increase its audience and focus on attracting those in mid to senior management positions as regular readers of Business News.

“It is important for current business owners to equip their emerging leaders with access to the knowledge, data, insights, and business information that a Business News subscription provides,” says Lisa Ravlich, Chief Marketing Officer of Business News.

Moonsail Creative Partner, Paul Coghlan, said: “Business News is a world-class subscription news offering, no doubt about it. When we compare their subscription model with ‘similar’ offerings in the US, they are leaps ahead. The team they have in place is world-class, and we believe the business intelligence they provide is the kind more people deserve to benefit from. ‘Subscribe to Success’ serves to do exactly that, positioning Business News as a vital weapon in the armoury of future business leaders aspiring to succeed.”

Moonsail Creative Partner, Matt Nankivell, said: “From a communications sense the key here was simplicity – giving the headlines space to breathe and be pondered. We hope this campaign inspires tomorrow’s leaders and they recognise Business News as a genuine contributor to their next successful steps in business.”

Coghlan added: “A special mention to the team at oOh!media who have done a great job with a potent media roll-out in all the highly-relevant places and spaces through-out the business district in the Perth CBD.”

The headline-driven launch campaign is rolling out in prominent outdoor, lift and lobby ads, adshels, digital and social media, as well as events branding and collateral.
