Anthologie reinvents old bottle factory in East Perth into new purpose-built creative workplace

On 2nd May 2022, Anthologie moved into a brand new space, sparking the next chapter in their story. Transformed from an old bottle factory, into a thriving hub of activity and interaction, Anthologie’s new space welcomes their people, clients and the broader industry to come together in an ‘open house’ spirit as an antidote to the disconnection felt post-pandemic.

Nestled in a tranquil corner by the river in East Perth, their new home is an impressive, purpose-built, creative space. With special emphasis on collaborative spaces and social interactions – it’s a space that feeds a culture of community, providing a world-class yet proudly local environment.

At the heart of Brown Street – its kitchen, mezzanine and bleachers, a vibrant, active and highly hospitable space for casual catchups, social gatherings, community events, industry nights, and more.

“We wanted to create a space where people can thrive. Where they can be deeply connected to the difference they are making. In an increasingly disconnected work world, this new space is a place to find connection with each other, to chat and share, and spark new ideas. Over a beer, a coffee or invariably, many, many post-it notes,” said Amy Sutton, Anthologie Founder and Managing Director.

Sustainability also played a key role in construction of the new space. “Although we’d already invested in carbon offsets through planting projects, we were limited in what we could do in our old space to reduce our footprint. This move let us install solar energy, supporting our commitment as a ‘beyond net-zero’ workplace. It’s a big step toward our long-term vision for the company,” said Sutton.

The fit out was delivered by Foolscap, a sustainability-focused architecture firm and Assemble Building Co.

Anthologie officially launched the new space in July by inviting family and close friends in the industry.
