Anglicare WA launches Friend in Need campaign via Wildlings
Wildlings has released a new campaign for Anglicare WA’s The Friend in Need app, a new one-stop support app delivering all the information you need to help someone going through a tough time.
Said Mark Glasson, Anglicare WA CEO: “Supporting a friend or loved one going through a hard time can be tough, but it doesn’t have to be. With so much information around mental health and wellbeing support across the web, you may not know where to start.
The app offers advice on how to respond to hurdles with life event cheat sheets and enables people to seek professional help across Western Australia including Clinical Psychologists, Counsellors, Job Coaches and more.”
Said Emma-Jane Morcombe, Anglicare WA Manager Media & Marketing: “It’s been great to reconnect with our friends at Wildlings to make more great work and harness their creativity.”
Said Wildlings Creative Partner, Matt Wilson: “We love promoting a valuable community resource like this. The scroll for accurate objective information online can be a daunting task – but this makes it so simple for someone to help a friend in need, whatever their situation.”
The campaign is in-market across OOH, print and digital sites, with a targeted radio campaign launching in the coming weeks.
Friend in Need is supported by Lotterywest and powered by Anglicare WA.

Tough brief for a fast, outdoor media placement – that’s a nice quick ‘get’. I’m really interested to check out the actual app experience, there’s no doubt that our whole community reaaaally need services like this to work at scale and in a remote (and cheap!) mobile-centric way.
