ACA’s Understanding Media Workshop Returns to Perth on 28 November

After selling out in July, Advertising Council Australia’s Understanding Media workshop returns to Perth on 28 November, giving client service, marketing, and media professionals the confidence and tools to navigate today’s complex media landscape.
Led by industry expert Paul Hindle, the workshop teaches participants how to decode media plans, question recommendations with confidence, and foster seamless collaboration between creative, media, and marketing teams.
“Too often, conversations about media and creativity happen in isolation,” said Hindle. “This workshop shows how early collaboration can lead to smarter investment decisions and stronger outcomes.”
The July session received glowing feedback. All participants rated the course as ‘excellent,’ with 80% saying it exceeded expectations and reporting they felt “very confident” about future media decisions.
Nawal Leon Kurson, Marketing and Communications Lead at MercyCare, said: “I got more out of this than any other workshop I’ve attended. The frameworks made complex concepts so easy to understand.”
Katie Hauth, Senior Account Manager at KWP+Partners, added: “The day was packed with insights that will help me in my client services role with both clients and media partners.”
Andrew Sharry, CEO of Adventure World, said: “If media falls even remotely within your responsibilities, I can’t recommend this course enough. It was worth every minute.”
