Marketforce gets the City of Canning clicking with new On-Demand Waste campaign
The City of Canning has launched a cinema and social campaign to promote its new On-Demand Waste Services, via Marketforce.
Created and produced in-house alongside Flare (an Omnicom production company), the campaign included a hero cinema ad alongside four cutdowns for social.
The City of Canning wanted to promote its On-demand Waste Services, which offer convenient collections for mattresses, whitegoods, oversized items, and bulk household waste in a memorable way to the Canning community. The answer? A bit of tongue-in-cheek humour.
Each ad shows how getting rid of each piece of waste is simply a click away, with a humorous twist as our resident tries to ‘click away’ her partner. Playfully demonstrating that the City’s service can get rid of most things, but not quite everything.
This is the first piece of creative work created by Jarrad Burley and Magnus Newman, the new creatives on the block at Marketforce.
Creative Director at Marketforce, Steve Allsopp, said: “This campaign was so much fun to make, and is just the beginning of a number of exciting creative projects that the team have in the pipeline. I can’t wait to show off even more of what we’ve been up to over the coming months.”
Brad Haseldine, Strategic Client Director at Marketforce, added: “It’s fantastic to see a client willing to be brave in their approach to everyday local government messaging. The City of Canning team really let us show off our creativity in informing and engaging the local community.”
