Timbertide Distillery and Adam Oliver take out Best Design Trophy at 2026 Australian International Spirits Awards
Timbertide Distillery has taken out the Best Design trophy for its Single Cask release at the 2026 Australian International Spirits Awards.
Competing in the Label / Surface Design category, the judges praised the work as “extremely classy and considered,” adding that the “whole presentation leaves me clambering to taste the whisky!”
The packaging was created through a close collaboration between Freelance Creative Director Adam Oliver and Timbertide Founder Matt Beaton. Designed to establish a premium brand presence for the Denmark, WA distillery, the Single Cask packaging balances the rugged environment of Western Australia’s south coast with a refined visual aesthetic.
Oliver added: “Top-shelf craft consumers demand an authentic experience as a value exchange for a premium price point. From the heavy weighted bottle to the raw uncoated stocks and special finishes, we created the packaging to balance the raw, natural energy of Denmark’s coast with an attention to detail that makes the product feel like a fixture of the region.”
The Australian International Spirits Awards evaluates entries on overall branding, design execution, and attention to detail, with Timbertide’s Single Cask standing out as the benchmark for luxury craft packaging.
