Grill The Marketer celebrates seventh birthday
Grill The Marketer hosted Luke Whelan, the Co-founder of popular publication Perth is OK! and social media agency, Social Meteor for their birthday event this July
The full gambit of marketing enthusiasts from current students keen to graduate and get started, to senior client-side marketers and whole range of agency folk braved the chilly Perth night for a chance to hear how Luke steered these two businesses to success simultaneously – almost by accident, and all the bumps along the way.
Attendees heard an origin story from dropping out of uni, nightclub promotion, co-owning a venue – all the way to winning Business News’ 40 Under 40.
Topics spanned social media content production, strategy, and dealing with set-backs delivered authentically and without ego.
The panel touched on industry awards, AI (of course) and event content moderation.
