PADC opens early access tickets for 2025 Skulls Awards – November 14 at Perth Mess Hall

Tickets for the 36th Perth Advertising and Design Club (PADC) Skulls Awards are officially open for early access to PADC Members and 2025 Skulls entrants.
Since 1989, the Skulls have celebrated commercial creativity in all its forms, recognising the ideas, craft and collaboration that define Western Australia’s creative industry. Submissions for the 2025 Skulls closed in early August, and the Club is now launching the first round of early access tickets exclusively for members and award entrants.
“It’s been amazing to see the standard of work continue to rise across WA,” said Lee Ingram, Lead Design Representative on the PADC Committee and Design Lecturer at Curtin University. “This year, the PADC placed special emphasis on the creativity that exists in every stage of development – the ideas, the experiments and the people behind the process. It’s that journey that makes the work so special.”
The Skulls judging process has become a hallmark of transparency and creative excellence within the industry. This year, it was led and adjudicated by PADC General Manager, Laura Vulling, and chaired by Dr Sinéad Roarty. Together with 20 expert judges, the panel assessed every entry through three rounds of online scoring, followed by intensive live discussions held across three days.
“What a nail-biter! There was so much work of high quality submitted this year, it felt incredible to put that level of creativity in front of our judges,” said Laura Vulling, General Manager of PADC. “The Skulls continue to grow in both participation, entry numbers and diversity, and it just goes to show that no matter what is happening in the industry, creativity always shines through.
“Watching the judges debate, defend and celebrate each piece was extraordinary. Every decision was made with care, integrity and passion. We can’t wait to share the winners and see the gold recipients take home Ross Scotland’s handcrafted skull award trophy. This year’s awards night is shaping up to be our biggest yet.”
The Skulls Awards highlight a wide range of disciplines, from film and radio to digital and social media. Large agencies, in-house teams, independent professionals and students are all encouraged to enter their work. PADC believes creativity is not dictated by scale or budget and deserves to be celebrated in all its flavours.
The night will feature curated food and drink experiences, live entertainment and surprises throughout, followed by an after-party hosted by YoungBloods.
The awards will be presented at Perth Mess Hall on Friday, 14th November. General access tickets will be available soon.
Tickets sold out in just 4 days last year, don’t miss out.
