PADC announces next Commune event, The Collaboration Effect: When smart media meets great creative – Thursday 23 October

The Perth Advertising and Design Club (PADC) is partnering with Media Tonic, News Australia and The Growth Distillery to host a panel discussion, ‘The Collaboration Effect,’ on Thursday, 23rd October at Lawson Flats.
The Club’s latest Commune will explore how smart media and great creative multiply each other’s impact when aligned with context.
“Great campaigns don’t happen in silos,” says Mark Treasure, Managing Director at Media Tonic. “They happen when the right people come together early—when strategy, media, creative, and clients are in the room shaping ideas from start to finish. That’s when work stops blending in and starts standing out.”
Speaking at the event will be Dan Krigstein, Director of The Growth Intelligence Centre and The Growth Distillery in Sydney. He’ll share powerful insights into how brands can grow in a time of polycrisis, what happens when creativity and media truly connect, and why context is often the missing multiplier.
Following the keynote, a panel of leaders from across the industry will open the conversation from every angle – client, creative, strategy and media – to uncover what it really takes to create campaigns that cut through.
The event will be hosted by René Migliore, PADC Patron and Managing Director at 303 MullenLowe, with Krigstein joining the panel alongside:
– Vici Richardson: Head of Brand and Growth at HBF Health, one of WA’s most trusted and respected brands.
– Paige English: Head of Perth at Initiative Media, using the power of media to reshape brands and consumer experiences.
– Dav Tabeshfar: Creative Director with over 25 years’ experience in creating award winning creative for some of the world’s top brands.
The event will be held at Lawson Flats, the CBD’s premier creative hub, partner and Creative Headquarters of the PADC.
Whether you are a creative, strategist, client or media professional, this is your chance to sharpen your perspective and leave with ideas that come from collaboration. After the session, join us upstairs for this month’s PADC-U-There drinks and connect with the industry over a drink or two.
