PADC and TalentPay discuss “The Production Playbook: Streamlining the Complexities”

The Perth Advertising and Design Club (PADC) is partnering with TalentPay to host a panel discussion, “The Production Playbook: Streamlining the Complexities,” on Thursday, 25 September, from 9am to 11am at Lawson Flats.

This event is designed for advertising, marketing and creative professionals who want to master the complexities of production. The panel will share their expert insights and practical strategies for keeping projects on time, on budget, and true to the creative vision.

The discussion will cover critical topics such as avoiding common pitfalls, striking the right balance between efficiency and creativity, and improving collaboration among agencies, clients and crew. Attendees will also learn how to get the most from talent, prevent budget blowouts, and navigate legal or compliance issues.

The expert panel features a diverse range of industry professionals, including:
• Jess Kay: A seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in creative production and talent management. As the Head of Production at Talentpay, Jess leads a team of producers and consults with industry bodies on key matters related to talent and crew.
• Mauro Palmieri: An accomplished photographer and director who will offer a real-world perspective on the day-to-day realities of shoots in Western Australia.
• Matty Limpus: A production and media professional who will discuss the complexities of large-scale, integrated campaigns and provide strategies for making efficiencies work in practise.
• Kate Elder: An actor and communications professional who will serve as the host and facilitator, providing a unique perspective on what talent needs to make a job run smoothly.
