The Brand Agency retires the King Street name

In a move that underlines The Brand Agency’s continuing commitment to integration, the agency has retired the King Street name. The agency’s sizable audio-visual production team, previously working under the King Street brand, will now fall under The Brand Agency name.

King Street was established eight years ago, as Perth’s first in-house agency production facility of scale. The offering has now grown to be Perth’s largest and most complete in-house agency production team of more than 10 people, employing multi-skilled Content Creators, Producers and Animators, delivering a range of audio-visual outputs for the agency’s clients.

Nick Bayes, The Brand Agency Managing Director, said: “King Street is an ongoing success story for The Brand Agency and it’s a model that many agencies have mirrored. But there has always been a little bit of confusion as to whether King Street was a separate entity to The Brand Agency, when it’s simply a team within our business, just like media, tech, creative or strategy.

“All the integrated services we provide to our clients’ work off the same P&L and have the same reporting structure to our local leadership, this ensures a shared focus for everyone at the agency, a focus on the success of our clients. So, it makes sense to lose the King Street name to make this integration complete from a brand perspective as well. I believe that different agency brands are unnecessary, when all clients really want is to deal directly with one organisation that can provide them with the best and widest capabilities. It’s an exciting time for our production team and the agency as a whole with our recent new hires and more to come.”
