Block-branded Margaret River project sells out

Independent brand agency Block is celebrating the rapid sell-out of Tunbridge Walk, a 30-lot land release just minutes from the heart of Margaret River. Developed by Elberton Property, the project sold out in a few months after launch, driven by a distinctive brand and campaign created by Block.

From naming to narrative, identity to rollout, the project was designed to connect with a new generation of buyers – those seeking connection and a more meaningful relationship with place. Built around the idea ‘Margs on your doorstep’, the brand combined earthy confidence with editorial charm, avoiding the usual clichés of rolling hills and lifestyle stock imagery in favour of something more grounded, layered and real.

“Tunbridge Walk offered something rare – walkability, community and proximity to the best of Margaret River,” says David Storey, Creative Director at Block. “The job was to create a brand that felt equally distinct. We wanted it to resonate with people who already had a deep affinity with Margs – not sell them a fantasy, but invite them into something genuine.”

Block’s scope for Tunbridge Walk included naming, brand platform, identity, campaign strategy, website design, digital creative, signage and sales collateral. The project builds on Block’s expanding body of work in place branding and developer campaigns — from creating the property portfolio brand Skyfields for Perth Airport, to refreshing the Greater Curtin masterplan brand they first created over a decade ago, to repositioning and relaunching the social enterprise SPACEMRKT around a new purpose: realising value in under-utilised spaces.
