Nine Perth helps HBF Run For A Reason break records in 2025

Major media partner Nine Perth has helped HBF Run For A Reason break records in 2025 with an incredible 40,000 people registering at last Sunday’s event and over $1.9 million raised for charities.
Nine’s team of volunteers including staff and presenters from 9News were out in full force to support the sea of participants at various points across the course, from the CBD start line, the Burswood Park run precinct right to the finish line festivities at the engaging 9News Dome at Gloucester Park.
Nine Perth’s Head of Marketing, Communications & TV Programming, Peter Brennan, is proud to continue to support WA’s biggest and much-loved community running event.
“Nine is privileged to partner and work with the incredible team at HBF Run For A Reason. It’s such an important event for so many reasons. To help them surpass two major milestones this year, across registrations and charity fundraising, is phenomenal.
“Congratulations to everyone who participated and volunteered their time, and to all the West Aussies who ran, walked and wheeled their way across the finish line on Sunday, well done! We can’t wait to see you all again next year!
Donations for the HBF Run For A Reason can still be made via www.hbf.com.au/run until the end of June.
