Nine hosts influential leaders at Australian Financial Review Mining Summit Dinner

Nine’s Australian Financial Review Mining Summit Dinner was held on Tuesday night at the State Buildings in the CBD, welcoming some of WA’s most prominent political and business leaders to discuss matters of the state and the future of the mining industry.

Hosted by Nine Perth Managing Director Clive Bingwa, Nine’s Chief Executive Officer Matt Stanton and the AFR’s Editor-In-Chief James Chessell, the special event now in its third year welcomed WA Premier Roger Cook, Deputy Premier Rita Saffioti, Minister for Mines and Petroleum David Michael and the Federal Minister for Resources Madeleine King, among others.

Bingwa thanked all those in attendance and acknowledged Nine’s rapid growth in WA with its powerful audience reach, greater than any other media company.

“In times of uncertainty it’s critical that we continue to report on this vital sector with integrity, without favour and most importantly, without an agenda,” he said.
