Nine Perth: The only CFTA network in Perth to grow audience year-on-year across all demos

Some good news for the 9Network in Perth. The station has delivered its strongest first quarter across commercial shares in VOZ history with Total People and ALL key demographics.

 

In 2025, the 9Network in Perth won the first quarter with People 25-54 (40.8%) and People 16-39 (41.9%).

In a 9Network press statement, the station highlighted that 9Network in Perth was the only CFTA network locally to experience year-on-year growth with all key advertising demos:
– People 25-54 (+9.8%)
– People 16-39 (+12.6%)
– GS18+ (+1.7%)
– Total People (+3.0%)

The 9Network in Perth also won Q1 across free-to-air network shares with People 25-54 (31.2%) and People 16-39 (31.0%).

9Now also did well in BVOD commercial shares locally, winning ALL key demos and Total People.

In Perth, Married At First Sight season 12 reached over 1.2M viewers across Total TV, an increase of +3.5% year-on-year. Across Total TV an audience of 214K viewers tuned into every episode locally, an increase of +14% YoY. It also significantly grew its Perth BVOD Average Audience by +17% year-on-year.

Tipping Point delivered large growth year-on-year across key demos at 5pm:
– People 25-54 (+79.8%)
– People 16-39 (+123.5%)
– GS18+ (+47.2%)
– Total People (+48.3%)

This growth has carried into 9News Perth’s flagship 6pm bulletin, with its weekday audience significantly growing across all key demos:
– People 25-54 (+29.1%)
– People 16-39 (+49.0%)
– GS18+ (+16.5%)
– Total People (+17.2%)

Nine Perth Managing Director, Clive Bingwa, said 9News 6.00 has already claimed a record 5 weekly wins this year in Perth with People 16-39.
