TikTok Ad Awards announces Unify Digital as Finalist for work on La Vida Homes

Perth home builder, La Vida Homes, has been shortlisted at the TikTok Ad Awards in the ‘Greatest Small Business Award’ category for their presence on social media platform TikTok, after using digital performance agency Unify Digital to manage its TikTok presence as part of its full service offering.

The award recognises strategy, content, ideation, editing and management of La Vida’s TikTok ads, which was a collaborative effort between agency and client.

Unify’s Senior Digital Strategist, Sonia Sweeny, said: “Working with La Vida to develop their TikTok strategy and implementation has been a great experience. As a brand, they are prepared to have a little bit of fun and really understand the power of engaging, fit for purpose content.

“Our strategy and creative teams worked closely with the La Vida team on ideation and production – at one point, we were producing up to 28 videos a month for them! The results speak for themselves, with multiple videos going viral, delivering good engagement and lots of leads from both paid and organic content. It was a learning experience for all of us, and our knowledge of what works on the platform grew dramatically with an “all-in” approach. TikTok has been a strong channel for La Vida, and we are proud to have played a role in that success.”

La Vida Homes is one of only three brands shortlisted, with its campaign beating off competition and content from the 350,000 small businesses that use TikTok to drive their business. It is also the only representative from WA at the prestigious awards, which have recognised international brands like PepsiCo, Spotify and Canva across other categories.

Unify’s Performance Director, Oliver Notley, said: “Unify is thrilled to be recognised by TikTok with this award nomination. Over the past 24 months TikTok has emerged as such a powerful performance and brand building platform, as an agency we have really invested a lot into our TikTok offering engineering an entire full service production team designed to consistently pump out the volume of content that a successful TikTok account requires, without breaking the client’s bank in the process!. It is a lot of work, but the upside is absolutely massive and we are so lucky to have a number of incredible clients like La Vida Homes who are keen to put in the hard yards and come on that journey with us.”

Collectively, the 28 finalists’ entries earned over 559 million likes, demonstrating their huge impact in Australia, and worldwide.

La Vida’s Marketing Manager for Western Australia, Siobhán Dunkley, said: We collaborated with Unify to develop an integrated social strategy that included establishing a presence on TikTok. The results were remarkable; we experienced significant brand growth by incorporating TikTok into our paid strategy, and we had a lot of fun in the process! We are honoured to be recognised alongside some incredible brands at the TikTok Awards next month, and we would like to extend our gratitude to Unify for their hard work and collaboration.”

This year saw a record-breaking 128 entries. Winners will be announced at the TikTok Ad Awards ceremony on February 19th in Sydney.
