Val Morgan’s FilmFronts has never been better

Yesterday, Thursday 21st November, Perth’s media industry gathered at Palace Cinemas Raine Square for Val Morgan’s biannual FilmFronts.

Showcasing the blockbuster slate of content coming to the biggest screens in the first half of 2025, including call-out titles such as Captain America: Brave New World, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, A Minecraft Movie, F1, Karate Kid: Legends, Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning, along with live-action adaptations of fan-favourites Lilo & Stitch, Snow White & How to Train Your Dragon, amongst a plethora of titles.

With strong visibility into 2025’s second half and beyond, Val Morgan also provided a glimpse at exciting & diverse titles on the near horizon: to name a few; Jurassic World: Rebirth, Downtown Abbey 3, Tron: Ares, Zootopia 2, and, headed our way for Christmas 2025, what is being forecast as the biggest film of next year: Avatar: Fire & Ash.

Guests were asked to “Choose their own adventure” after the presentation, to enjoy a screening of either Gladiator II, or, Wicked: Part One. Bespoke cocktails were created to suit the theme of the two films, accompanied by sliders, grazing boards and popcorn, of course!
