Distl welcomes Jakeb Munn, Sofia Magro, Jade Shaikh and Tho Nguyen to their team

Distl has announced multiple new hires including Sofia Magro + Jade Shaikh to their Account Management team, Jakeb Munn as SEO Specialist and Tho Nguyen as a new Junior Designer.

Munn (front right) joins Distl with over four years of digital marketing experience. Starting as a hybrid Junior Developer and SEO Coordinator at PWD. Having worked on brands such as AFGRI Equipment, Perth City Dental, and Fertility North, he has honed his skills across a diverse client base.

“I was impressed by the genuine commitment to the values of transparency and empathy from the leadership team I met, but the office dogs sealed the deal,” said Munn.

Magro (back left) brings eight years of agency experience to Distl as one of their newest Account Managers, specialising in digital paid media across search, social, and programmatic channels. She has held positions at Switch Digital, OMD WA, and Kinesoo, working with high-profile Australian brands like Kleenheat, Football Australia, and P&N Bank.

Magro said: “I was drawn to Distl to be able to continue working on big brands but in a smaller supportive working environment, I feel here I can continue to thrive in the digital space, while maintaining a positive work-life balance.”

The second Account Manager addition, Shaikh (back right), steps into her role at Distl after managing several Perth hospitality and lifestyle brands such as Besk Bar and Mary Street Bakery at Studio Appetite. Her experience includes content creation, digital marketing strategies, campaign management, and creative direction.

Shaikh added: “I was attracted to Distl’s wide range of services, allowing me to expand my skillset alongside a talented team, from adding SEO and Paid Media all the way to learning about Branding and Web.”

Nguyen (front left), has shown enthusiasm for learning and a commitment to doing meaningful work. This supports Distl’s mission, allowing Tho to work on major brands like Nimble and Visa Solutions.
