Perth Advertising and Design Club launches partnership with Lawson Flats: Home of the PADC
The Perth Advertising and Design Club (PADC) has entered into a new partnership with Lawson Flats, a premier creative hub located in Perth’s CBD. This collaboration, under the name Lawson Flats: Home of the PADC, represents a union of two entities dedicated to nurturing and celebrating creativity within the Perth community.
The partnership comes off the success of the Club’s latest Commune event, Make it Pop!, held at Lawson Flats on Friday night. The sold-out event saw over 80 of Perth’s creative community come together to hear three of Perth’s leading ‘pop-culturalists’ – Demelza Leonard, Mike Drysdale and Lee Ingram – in a panel discussion on working with popular culture, and the subcultures and unique brand niches that exist around them.
Founded in 1980, PADC has been the cornerstone for commercial creators in Western Australia, inspiring, assisting, and acknowledging the creative talents in the region. Lawson Flats, set over three floors in one of the city’s last remaining Art Deco jewels, is a haven for creative professionals offering a space that seamlessly blends work, life, and play.
“PADC and Lawson Flats share a common vision of fostering a vibrant and dynamic community for creatives,” says PADC Club Manager, Laura Vulling. “This partnership allows us to create an exclusive base for our committee and our members, where they can be immersed in an inspiring environment that promotes collaboration and innovation.”
