Hypnosis adds two ‘rock star’ creatives

Hypnosis captures a brooding image of new creatives that could be mistaken as an album cover for a girl band. With simple intentions of letting the industry know about their exciting hires the images came back from the lab looking like they belonged in a CD sleeve. Luckily for Hypnosis, designer Tina Milosic (left) and creative copywriter Laura Blundell (right) have decided not to pursue music and will apply their talents to careers in creative comms and brand building.

The new hires come on the heels of a surge in new business including Gage Roads Brewery, and Sydney-based high performance computing company Iris Energy. Additionally, they have seen growth in projects from their existing client portfolio. Committed to building the right team, at the right pace, Blundell and Milosic have been carefully recruited to fit the suite of clients but also the culture of creativity within the agency.

Hypnosis, Co-Founder, Guy Patrick, says: “Laura’s Award School portfolio was a stand out amongst a very impressive year group, but it was her passion as a film critic and writer that really impressed us. Her movie references go as deep as Jean Reno in a red, white and green wetsuit and we look forward to unleashing her creative thinking and writing on our clients’ marketing challenges.

“Tina is an exciting Slovenian import to the Hypnosis team. She brings a super fresh approach to design and the English language. Her finger is on the pulse of the latest design trends and often makes me feel out of touch – exactly why we gave her the job.

“We’ve uncovered two individuals whose curiosity and creative ambitions make them the perfect fit for what we are building.”

Milosic says: “I’ve come from an underrated country to an underrated state. Having something to prove is the biggest driver you can get. It’s an exciting place to be.”

Blundell said: “By Grabthar’s Hammer, what a life change.”

Hypnosis, Managing Director, Amber Martin, said: “We’re pleased as punch to bring these two extremely talented creative brains into the fold. I’ve always believed in order to make this industry better we need the talent yes, but we also need the nice. And Tina and Laura have both in spades.”
