Wildlings launches WA’s first 3D billboard site to promote WA Museum Boola Bardip’s Discovering Ancient Egypt exhibition
Wildlings has put Network Media’s new digital outdoor screen to the test as WA’s first 3D OOH screen sprung to life (after death).
The 3D animation features a sarcophagus unexpectedly emerging from its tomb – evoking a sense of wonder and curiosity to promote Boola Bardip’s latest blockbuster exhibition: Discovering Ancient Egypt.
“The team at WA Museum are passionate about creating ground-breaking digital experiences that immerse and inspire visitors. Promoting Discovering Ancient Egypt on Perth’s first 3D billboard aligned with this,” said Jane Jones, Manager Marketing and Audience Development at WA Museum.
Phil Dada, of Network Media, said: “I’ve been wanting to see a 3D installation since this new digital screen was installed earlier this year. It’s fair to say Wildlings and WA Museum have showed us just what the new site is capable of.”
Matt Wilson, Creative Partner at Wildlings, said: “With some talented 3D designers in-house we all jumped at the chance to put the OOH site through its paces. The experience it can offer brands is instantly eye-catching and memorable”.
Discovering Ancient Egypt is a must-see exhibition featuring over 240 objects, including intricately decorated coffins, mummies, statues, and extracts from the Book of the Dead. Since launch, the exhibition has already attracted over 90,000 visitors to Boola Bardip.
