This year’s Supernova of the Year award is awarded to OMD WA’s Tyson Spensieri.
Spensieri is a talented digital media specialist who has managed to achieve 40% growth in digital clients within OMD WA. His attitude, expertise, experience and ability to see the opportunities in clients and the larger business have rocketed him up the ranks of OMD WA within only 6 months.
Shortly before COVID sent the world into lockdown, he made the bold choice to leave the local Perth industry and grow himself, his career, and work alongside some of the biggest clients in a completely different country with no way home. He quickly gained employment and valuable insights into the UK, European & Middle East markets whilst increasing his skills in a variety of digital platforms.
After more than two years abroad, Spensieri returned to Perth and joined OMD WA, where he created instant growth and success with 75% growth in the first six months of his tenure. On top of all of this, he’s shown great leadership by building process diagrams for the broader team, client documentation, and new templates for his staff to use while continuing to grow the digital client base by 40%.
