So Perth collaborates with Pirate Life Perth to brew the So Pirate Life Perth beer
So Perth has announced its first collaboration with local brewery, Pirate Life Perth, and bring some thirst-crushing news to Perth this spring.
So Perth, a leading millennial publication part of So Media Group, has partnered with Perth hospitality group, Sneakers & Jeans to create a beer that is destined to excite all beer lovers of Perth. The beer has been brewed by Sneakers & Jeans’ venue, Pirate Life Perth.
This partnership is a positive step forward for So Perth, strengthening its influence within the community.
So Media Group CEO, Adam Barrell said “With close to 500,000 users across our platform, it is exciting to bring the So Perth brand outside of the digital community and into the IRL community. This will be the start of many So Perth brand activations.”
“We wanted to bring something fun and different to Perth this spring, and what better way than to provide a brand new beer to bring people together?”
Pirate Life Perth Head Brewer, Jackson Purser, describes the beer as a: “crisp, refreshing drop. A style already rich in quality, we decided not to reinvent the wheel. We’ve gone with traditional German malts, noble hops, and Kölsch yeast. So effectively, it’s got an extremely similar profile to the world’s most popular beer — Lager!” It’s the perfect beverage to sip on while soaking up the sun this spring.
To celebrate the occasion So Perth invited key media and clients partners to Pirate Life Perth to be some of the first in Perth to try the beer, with many guests giving the beer the big tick of approval.
Sneakers & Jeans CEO, Andy Freeman, is excited to launch the beer with So Perth. “It’s been great to collaborate with the So Perth team – two Perth-focussed businesses who have cultivated a great relationship over the years through our shared love of offering Perth people the very best in unique customer experiences.”
The So Pirate Life Perth beer will only be poured at Pirate Life Perth, located in Perth’s CBD and the beer will only be available while stocks last, which we believe won’t be for very long.
The beer offically launched yesterday, the 6th of October, with prices ranging from $11 for schooners to $13 for pints.
Followers and readers of So Perth will be able to score a limited So Perth X Pirate Life Perth Kölsch for $7 a schooner and $10 a pint. Simply jump on over to So Perth Socials to find out more details.
