Well done Matt and Luke. All the accolades are deserved. I’m sure there’s more to come for this work.
Will be interesting to see who gets up on stage for this gong.
Hey Merit, why throw shade like that, are you implying that’s all it deserves? Weird take. Why not be happy for them whatever they get?
And Chris, it should be a given that the team who created the campaign get to step up to the podium. But, maybe *some folks see it differently.
*I won’t even imply who the ‘some folks’ are, as I know CB wouldn’t publish. There are some very sensitive people who read this blog.
Nice one, team. Super happy for ya’ll.
Always great to see WA work recognised on an international level. Congrats to all involved.
@Ad Dad’s Dad. Exactly how old are you? 80’ish, or 8?
The ‘Team’, for any piece of work, is the team behind that piece of work. The people that made it happen, from idea through to completion – Creative team, account management team, production team etc etc. Depending on the show, and the agency, you’ll either see one or two people get up, or you’ll see everyone including the cleaners get on stage. It’s a bit of a moot point. The judges award the work, and the work in almost every instance of something being award-worthy, takes a small army.
@Chris Rock, same logic applies. And given this article’s about potentially picking up at One Show, and budgets being what they are and no one flying over to the States to do the short walk and a handshake, I don’t think it’ll be that interesting at all.
Personally, I’m bloody stoked that Matt, Luke, everyone else involved in the creation and crafting of this, WT as an agency and Anglicare as a client, has scored Perth’s only finalist at The One Show. Maybe there’s more of an interesting discussion around that?
You tell em!
