Social Meteor shifts gears with a growing team

WA digital agency Social Meteor is set to reach new heights in 2022 with a fresh focus, more clients, and a growing team.

Renowned for their successful digital marketing and social strategies, the tight-knit team is expanding, moving towards video content, and harnessing the power of LinkedIn with their B2B clients.

Managing Director Luke Whelan says the agency will be shifting their focus to flourishing business-to-business models selling products and services to companies.

Whelan says: “We’ve been utilising LinkedIn as a primary social channel to drive results for service industry clients such as Leap Consulting and Pep Transport and seeing fantastic results.”

Pep Transport have been working with Social Meteor for over 6 months and Major Account Manager Celeste Barber says it was a profitable decision.

“The recruitment application pool has increased and our Social Media following has grown,” says Barber.

Social Media Specialist Pierce Ericson has achieved 1.2 million impressions for Pep since October last year, converting 2,200 link clicks in the first month to a steadily increased number of hired drivers.

As the team grows, so does the number of premier businesses including fresh additions Shelter Brewing, Zsa Zsa Property and Viva La Blonde. They have joined the growing list of Social Meteor’s nationally recognised clients including Chicken Treat, Yahava Coffee Works and Rent.com.

The latest member to the team is Senior Accounts Manager Greta Chesterman. She will bring her creative production experience from Melbourne’s biggest advertising agencies including Crown Resorts, VMLY&R and Jumbla.

Chesterman has joined Social Media Specialists Lilian Yeow, Mikaela Knight, Pierce Ericson and Creative Director Benjamin Hardy and Luke Whelan.

Whelan said their crew of six are already changing the digital game for over twenty fiver retainer clients with a vision to double that in the next year.

“There’s no limit to what we will achieve in the digital sphere in the next 12 months,”  said Whelan.
