Match & Wood hires Lauren Overton and Jacqueline Hayes in Manager roles

Match & Wood has added to their team with the hire of Lauren Overton and Jacqueline Hayes in Manager roles, moving from Carat and Initiative respectively.

Overton (pictured left) has taken up the role of Communications Manager after beginning her career at Carat in 2016, and more recently working on Crown Perth, UWA and Karrinyup Shopping Centre. She sees the move to Match & Wood as a chance to take on greater responsibility within a growing team and an agile, process-driven agency.

Overton said: “I’m really excited to join the team at Match & Wood. I’ve been impressed to learn about what (founders) Chris and Lyndelle have built in both Perth and Melbourne, and I look forward to the challenges and opportunities working in a new agency will bring.”

Hayes (pictured right) has also joined as Performance Manager; this follows five years in digital media roles across client and agency side, with the last three years being spent at Reprise Australia. She is charged with social media leadership across the agency and was attracted to the long term career growth options.

Hayes said: “Moving over to Match & Wood has been an exciting change for me after hearing so many positive things about the agency for many years now. It’s a great opportunity to work with Ash Idle and Stuart MacDougall again, and I’m enjoying collaborating closely with the national leadership team aswell as the account teams in both Perth and Melbourne.”
