Meet The Media Perth announces media line-up for March 23rd event

The Perth media line-up for #MeetTheMedia on March 23 at the Australian Institute of Management WA has been released. The first seven of the nine media that will be taking part in this very popular event have been made public with two more media to be announced next week.

“In a pandemic world where the media landscape has changed dramatically it is so important to stay in touch with what the key decision makers are looking for in a story.” Says Nic Hayes, managing director of Media Stable and host of #MeetTheMedia. “There is a lot to be said around the changing landscape because business over the last two years has had to do it differently no different for the print, radio, television, and online media industry.”

The event now in its third year at AIM WA has always been SOLD OUT weeks before the date and with only 15 tickets available for this one in March they are expected to be snapped up in the next week. The quality of the media attending has reached new heights. Some of the best journalists, presenters, and producers here in Western Australia all in a room to educate and inform the very people looking to communicate with them effectively and efficiently.

The media today don’t get the chance to meet the businesses or people they report on or write about. The days of the ‘long lunch’ and catch-ups for media are rare if in existence at all, so the chance to meet new businesses, experts and organisations helps with their job. “Both media and experts get a lot from the event.” Says Nic who has produced 24 #MeetTheMedia’s with his Media Stable team across the country over the last six years. The last two years have been restricted to just Perth.

On March 23, the media attending #MeetTheMedia that have been announced this week include:
Tim McMillan, Channel 7 Weekend News and Host of Flashpoint
Saskia Loosjes, Channel 9 News 5PM WA First, Executive Producer
Shane Douglas, 6PR Breakfast, Executive Producer
Amber Johnston. Channel 7 News, Reporter
Natalie Forrest, Channel 10 News, Reporter
Claire Tyrell, Business News, Senior Journalist
Kelly Haywood, Channel 9 News, Reporter
Nic Hayes, Media Stable Managing Director and Host

There are two more journalists to be announced from The West Australian and the ABC.
