Another long standing WA based client leaves Perth and takes with it jobs and expertise and opportunities. Very sad when this happens and not great for the future of our industry.
Rare had done (what appeared to be) a good job with this client over many years.
One of the few remaining national accounts out of Perth and a big loss for the market.
Another great WA brand goes east expecting to get better
This is a terrible brand with a terrible business model. Also nobody lost their job. or will gain a job if this account stayed local, big flashy name does not mean big flashy budget. The world needs far less of these types of businesses, and we owe it to ourselves not to support them.
Interesting take @Good Riddance. By that logic, you’d have to say there are quite a few clients in Perth just as harmful too right? Where do you draw the line? Would you work on TAB, Crown, RWWA, RIO etc? Very few agencies in this town would reject work over ethical concerns. There used to be one, but they went back to their burrow…
