Nine Perth is changing their news and current affairs offering with the introduction of a revamped and interactive weekday bulletin, 9News WA First, starting Monday, January 31, at 5.00pm.
Fronted by Monika Kos, this one-hour state-wide bulletin will not only bring viewers up-to-date with the news of the day from the moment they get home, but will embrace the power of social media, allowing audiences the opportunity to immediately ask the questions they want answered via Facebook and email.
Nine Perth Director of News, Michael Best, says whether it be delving into a debate on politics, a query about the headline story of the day, a thought regarding the sporting world or an input on showbiz and entertainment, 9News WA First encourages viewers to directly interact with the news, giving Western Australians a platform to voice their opinions in an accessible way.
Kos will then hand over to Michael Thomson for the full story on the network’s flagship 9News Perth bulletin at 6.00pm.
Best, says its revamped news offering opens the door to unique community engagement, never seen before on live Perth television: “The nature of the revamped bulletin means we are fully focused on WA first – first with all the breaking news at 5.00, first with the stories that matter most to West Aussies and first to ask viewers what matters to them – to encourage opinion, facilitate debate and give answers to their questions.”
“We then roll straight into our comprehensive nightly 6.00 bulletin, making Nine Perth the only commercial network to televise two hours of live, local, rolling news coverage each weekday. We also continue to broadcast 9News Late from our CBD studio – the only commercial station to deploy its crew to broadcast a late-night bulletin across the nation.”

I would like to know why RAT kits are different for concession holders. I have been told by two different pharmacies that the ones available for purchase are not the ones that will be available free for concession holders next week.
Thank you
Following you advert just now regarding cancer , today is cancer donation day. Donations will be matched equally by major sponsors.
I have Acute Myeloid leukaemia without the Cancer Foundation drives especially The Linear Trials associated Harry Perkins Institute and the Snow Dome Foundation I would have lost my life after failed conventional chemo did not work for me. I certainly couldn’t have afforded the trial nor the bone marrow transplant I will have on Thursday
Kind regards

I would like to mention that I have a hearing problem and wear hearing aids.
Most programs and adverts have loud background music that makes it difficult for people like me to hear what that we would like to hear.
I realise that music must be in the background in most things but WHY so Loud.
