96FM holds on to #1 in Perth despite ratings dip: Mix 94.5 and Triple M gain ground

96FM has held on to #1 station in Perth despite dropping 2.3% overall. MIX 94.5 is now #2 overall just in front of NOVA 93.7 at #3 overall.
96FM has held on to its position as the #1 station in Perth, despite a drop of 2.3% in overall share in GfK Radio Survey 4 of 2025. The station now holds a 14.8% share and recorded a weekly CUME (cumulative audience) of 506,000 — down by 34,000 listeners.
In Breakfast, 96FM slipped to #3, losing 1.8% to record a 13.0% share.
Mix 94.5 had a strong result, climbing to #2 overall with a 12.4% share (up 0.7%). The station’s Breakfast share also rose, up from 11.1% to 12.3%. Its CUME surged to 619,000 — an increase of 41,000 listeners.
NOVA 93.7 dropped to #3 overall with a 12.3% share, following a 2.6% decline from Survey 3. However, its Breakfast show remains Perth’s most listened-to, holding the #1 position despite a 4.0% drop — from 19.5% to 15.5%. NOVA’s CUME rose to 682,000 (+27,000).
92.9 Triple M had its best-ever Breakfast performance, jumping 3.4% to land at #2 in that slot with a 13.4% share. The station is now #4 overall, rising to a 10.9% share (up 1.7%) and a CUME of 454,000 (+27,000).
Talk station 6PR saw a slight increase in overall share, up from 6.5% to 6.7%. Its Breakfast share fell by 0.9% to 8.3%, while CUME dropped by 9,000 to 164,000.
