Youngsters take the hosting reins for an Easter special on 9Network’s Destination WA

This week Destination WA will have a unique new look as a team of enthusiastic youngsters from across the state take on the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to present the program for the first time.

To coincide with the start of the Easter school holidays, this 30-minute local special will showcase key events, eateries, and favourite locations for the whole family to enjoy.

Zosha, 12, and her friends will explore Perth’s vibrant culture, including a unique sculpture walk, followed by an array of events at the State Library of WA and the latest displays at the WA Museum.

Jackson, 14, visits Perth’s favourite science museum, Scitech, where his dream of becoming an astronaut feels like a reality.

Meanwhile, 17-year-old Lauren jumps feet-first with a fun-filled visit to Perth’s largest indoor trampoline park, Bounce.

The budding young presenters will inspire you to make the most of what our vast state has to offer through a very different lens, showcasing great activities to ensure you can have a memorable Easter break without breaking the bank.

Destination WA is produced by Guru Productions for the 9Network.

Destination WA’s kid special is on this Sunday April 2 at 5.30pm on Channel 9 & 9Now.
