Wunderman Thompson wins Television Campaign Best of Year at the 2021 Campaign Brief WA Awards for St John WA
A series of commercials for St. John WA, created by Wunderman Thompson, has taken out the Best of Year award in the Television Campaign category at the 2021 Campaign Brief WA Awards. The ‘Search This’ campaign beat three other finalists. Television Campaign is sponsored by Channel 10.
Luke Williams and Matt Wilson were the Wunderman Thompson creative team behind the winning campaign which was produced by Sandbox. See the other finalists here.

Next week also sees the announcement of this year’s Campaign Brief WA big industry awards. The winners of Agency of the Year, Advertiser of the Year, Ad Person of the Year, Challenger/Specialist Agency of the Year, Helen Filov Media Agency of the Year, Media Organisation of the Year and Supernova of the Year will be announced here on CBWA Thursday afternoon April 22nd – between 4:30pm and 5pm. So pour yourself a glass of wine and follow the announcements and prepare to celebrate some very deserving winners.
Finalists in each of these categories will be released on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.

That was fun to follow online. 3 Bests for WT, +Partners and Rare and 1 for Gatecrasher and Bonfire. Bit of a change up on recent years with nothing for 303, MF and Brand. Well done to all winners particularly the 2 TV categories.
Go Meerkats… errr
This is a very good campaign. Demonstrates that a strong idea that communicates a strong proposition doesn’t need a massive budget to deliver compelling communications. That’s where the skill is. Well done and well deserved to everyone involved.
Meerkats turned this around in incredibly fast time, to meet an opportunity Lotterywest afforded. I headed up the brief (and budget) and the team was outstanding in response.
