WAMA launches first of its kind DEI survey in partnership with ECU

Today, marketers across WA are being asked to lend their voice in a groundbreaking survey released by WAMA and ECU, that will create a benchmark to annually measure and track representation and experiences in the WA marketing industry.
From interns to directors, agency to client-side marketers, WAMA is asking everyone to participate so that as many experiences and voices are represented as possible.
Tess Palmyre, DEI Committee Member for WAMA, said: “This survey is an important step in helping the WA Marketing community benchmark our DEI performance, and identify areas needing attention. As DEI has been a priority for WAMA since inception, we’re proud to be working with ECU to commence this initiative.
“We look forward to the WA marketing community not only getting behind the survey, but also making the changes that will see improvement in future survey results!”
The survey will be open from today until Thursday the 14th of September, and only takes ten minutes to complete. You’ll also go into the draw to win a pair of AirPods Pro (valued at $400) and six $100 Coles Myer gift cards. Answers are anonymous and completely confidential.
A live link will be posted today. If you’re on the WAMA mailing list, the link will be emailed directly to your inbox when it launches. You can sign up to the mailing list here.
Together WAMA are aiming to source a large and diverse range of opinions, and the most accurate results possible, so consider sharing the link to the survey with your network – be it via email, LinkedIn or over your next coffee catch up.
