Match & Wood – Digital Performance Specialist (Social)

Match & Wood is a progressive, fast-growing independent media agency and we are looking for a Digital Performance Specialist (Social) to join our Perth team. It’s an exciting time to be in the media industry with old systems and processes being disrupted and we are proud to be at the forefront of this change.

As a Digital Performance Specialist you will be providing support to our team and our clients across digital media with a specific focus on driving performance with social media. We have a diverse range of clients within categories such as education, energy, building, insurance, technology and FMCG, so the opportunities are many and varied.

You will be responsible for setting the direction and strategy to maximise performance across our clients’ social campaigns, and have the opportunity to leverage your existing skill set into new areas of growth by tapping directly into our team of experts across digital strategy, execution, data and technology.

Key responsibilities
The core focus of this role is social media strategy, planning, implementation and measurement.
Experience in Facebook Business Manager and LinkedIn Ads is essential.
Maintain a strong understanding of our clients’ business objectives and recommend ways that digital media can help achieve those objectives.
Develop media plans and implementation recommendations aligned to performance objectives, utilising platform knowledge and benchmarks to inform the overall strategy.
Implementation, management & maintenance of measurement pixels through key platforms & Google Tag Manager.
Create measurement dashboards and campaign reports using Google Data Studio, Supermetrics & Excel.
Management of timelines, deliverables and workflow across the team.
Coaching & development of broader team members who are involved in the day-to-day facilitation of client campaigns.
Development and presentation of recommendations to our clients.

We are looking for someone who is both a critical thinker and strong executor, who works well within cross-functional teams. We also have a strong east/west coast culture and this role includes opportunities to be involved in National projects.

Experience required
At least 3 years’ in Paid Social, including Facebook Business Manger & Linkedin Ads. Experience with TikTok Ads & Twitter Ads is welcomed, but not mandatory.

You will ideally have over 4 years’ experience at other integrated agencies and/or digital agencies, but you are looking to grow your skill set. Tertiary qualifications are preferred, but not essential.

MineGeoTech – Short-Term Project Content Writer & Graphic Designer

Have a flair for words and/or graphic design?

Keen to gain some work experience?

I’m Ewelina, the Marketing Officer at MineGeoTech, and I am looking for one to two people who are currently studying content writing, and/or graphic design, to help me in the marketing department based in our Perth office with a few short-term projects in a part-time capacity.

Being a one-person department, it would be great to have those extra pairs of hands to help with building our content collection.

These tasks may include:
Refreshing our brochures
Creating new pull-up banners
Designing a client case study template
Write a collection of articles
Put together a selection of whitepapers
Set up an iconography library
Ad-hoc requests

What’s in it for me?
I speak from personal experience when I say that internships and short-term projects are a great way to learn (and earn) while you’re at university, especially when it directly relates to your course of study.

This work would be anticipated to take 3-to-6-months (on a part-time or casual basis), for which you would be compensated on a per hour basis. Finer details regarding how many hours per week will be discussed at the interview stage, as this depends on our milestone targets as well as your availability.

During this time, you would gain valuable work experience which you would be able to put on your resume and note me down as your reference.
