The Shire of Augusta & Margaret River’s new website gains international recognition

Global software company, Kentico, has recognised the Shire of Augusta and Margaret River’s new website with their August Site of the Month award.

The Kenitico Site of the Month award recognises sites across the world that deliver great digital experiences for their customers.

“This website is the fruition of over a year’s worth of effort in customer research, planning, information architecture, user experience design, useability testing, and content rewriting. Almost 300 community members have taken part in shaping the site via surveys, online testing and one-on-one usability testing sessions, to help us ensure it meets their needs. A big focus was on making information easier to find and read.” Said Cristina Smith, Customer Experience Coordinator, Shire of Augusta and Margaret River. “We are so happy with the website, and we’re absolutely thrilled that Kentico has recognised it with this award.

Digital agency ALYKA’s web development team built the site on the new Kentico Xperience 13.

Tenille Evans, Head of Web, ALYKA, said: “We’ve built a lot of Government sites over the years, but this has to be one of the best. Kentico 13 has allowed us to build a site that runs at lightning speed, and makes it easy for our client to make content updates. This award is a great way to acknowledge the hard work of our internal team and the synergy we created with the SAMR team.”
