HuntTesorieroTeoh_AUG2018_BLOG.jpgThe recent spate of creative ‘musical chairs’ in Perth has continued with 303 MullenLowe creative lead Dean Hunt (far left) moving to The Brand Agency as Creative Director.

Hunt was founding creative director of VCCP Sydney, famous for introducing comparethemarket.com.au to Australia. He has more than 20 years’ experience working at major international and Australian agencies including Mojo, The Campaign Palace, JWT, TBWA and BMF.  His work has won multiple awards at the Sirens, D&AD, Cannes and ADMA.

He has been in Perth since 2016, initially as Creative Director at J Walter Thompson before joining 303 MullenLowe at the end of that year.

Hunt will team up with Nathan Teoh (above right), who has been promoted to Head of Art. Teoh is now one of The Brand Agency’s longest serving creatives, and won the PADC Ultimate Diamond Skull earlier this year.

Hunt’s appointment comes hot on the heels of Matt Wilson and Hayden Griffiths joining from Marketforce last month.

“I’m pumped to have Dean come aboard. His creative track record and experience at top agencies is a perfect fit for our exciting, new model here at Brand,” said Executive Creative Director, Marcus Tesoriero (above centre). “In addition, Nathan has really impressed me over recent months so I’ve stepped him up to Head of Art. Together, he and Dean will make a formidable team. The creative department is now looking red hot.”

“It’s a real pleasure to be joining Nick, Marcus, Nate and the team at The Brand Agency,” said Hunt. “There’s been some real momentum recently and they’ve clearly established the sort of full service environment that big ideas thrive in. I’m looking forward to working with everyone there and together, coming up with creative solutions that get noticed and get results. Exciting times.”
