The Ten Eyewitness News team in Perth has celebrated their 10th anniversary on-air.

Narelda Jacobs, Tim Gossage and Michael Schultz have been presenting the news, sport and weather together since 2008, and are one of the longest presenting trios in the world.

“I have never taken this job for granted and loved every moment of the last 10 years in the studios of Ten Perth,” said Jacobs. “It’s an honour and a privilege to be invited into West Australian homes at 5pm.”

“NJ is like the cool girl you wanted to sit next to at school every day … easy-going, funny, smart and low maintenance, and I have got to do it every week for ten years,” said Gossage.

“It’s been a solid run,” said Schultz. “Hopefully the next ten years are as enjoyable as the last ten.”

The trio paid tribute to the broader Ten Perth team who put the broadcast together each day, as well as the most important people who keep them on-air.

“It’s not just about the three of us; this is a credit to Team Ten. The camera crew, journalists, producers and of course the viewers. Without them we wouldn’t have made it to day ten, let alone year ten!”
