Split Screen hosts the French over 7 day production in Perth and Kununurra

French production company Hope Productions has been filming a worldwide documentary on the fragrances that are used by most people. They chose Kununurra as the essential oil for Sandalwood. They then chose Split Screen as the host production company.

Director Peter Aquilina and producer Lee Guy-Wallis line produced the job to a budget that also saw Aquilina off to direct a shoot in Asia.

“So I was privileged to spend 7 days with some of the most professional crew I have ever worked with. I learnt so much from them,” said Guy-Wallis.

First Assistant Director at Hope Productions, Emile Rabaté, said it was a pleasure to work with Guy-Wallis

“The best executive producer/fixer in Western Australia,” said Rabaté. “Our documentary film crew came from France to shoot in Perth and Kununurra. From day one, Lee was super involved in helping us organize everything: bookings, planes, talent scouting, on-the-ground survey, reports… She did it all, always happy to participate, while giving us at the same time useful tips and insights gained from a years of experience in the WA film industry. During the shoot, Lee was always kind and professional. Everything went smoothly thanks to her great organizing skills and ability to anticipate logistics. No problem can’t be solved by her solutions-oriented and incredibly efficient mindset. We left a bit of our heart in Perth and Kununurra thanks to Lee.”
