Seven delivers MKR cooking demonstration for agencies and clients to celebrate new season

Channel 7 Perth has celebrated the upcoming return of Australia’s favourite home cooking show – MKR – at a cooking demonstration with agencies and clients.

Held at Hart & Co in Osborne Park, proud sponsor of MKR 2022, guests were treated to potato curry, stir-fried street chicken and black rice pudding, cooked by former MKR favourites, Blake and Amanda Proud. Clients were given an insight into the brother and sister duo’s love of food and their own experience on season 10 of MKR in 2019.

To top off the night, guests were gifted their very own MKR apron and a signed Nigella Lawson cookbook.

Nigella will travel around Australia with returning host and judge Manu Feildel to dine in the homes of passionate home cooks competing for the title of MKR Champion.

Also joining MKR this season is award-winning food journalist and TV personality Matt Preston, while celebrity chefs Colin Fassnidge and Curtis Stone return as guest judges.

Audiences are set to be captivated as MKR returns with its original winning recipe – real people, real food, in real homes, serving treasured family recipes and love on a plate to the judges and their fellow contestants.

MKR premieres 7.00pm Sunday, 7 August on Channel 7 and 7plus.
