Senior moves at Carat sees Lana Blanchard rejoin the media agency along with the hire of Alan Bayliss and promotion of Sam Giuffre

Carat Perth has announced three new appointments for the media agency.

 

Lana Blanchard (pictured middle) has returned to Carat Perth after less than a year with Seven West Media. Blanchard joined Seven West Media as Senior Sales Executive in January this year and rejoins Carat as Client Partner. In other moves, Alan Bayliss (pictured right) joins as Client Director and Sam Giuffre (pictured left) has been promoted to Group Investment Director.

“We are delighted to be announcing new hires that enhances our service offering and media and marketing expertise for clients,” said Jim Groves, Managing Director Carat Perth.

Blanchard’s principal remit is to lead the agency’s key national client Alinta. Of her appointment Alinta Energy Marketing Manager Adam McCarthy said: “Lana has already proven herself to possess the attributes required to run a business of the scale and complexity of ours; both the team and I are very much looking forward to working with her again.”

Blanchard said: “I’m delighted to be re-joining the Carat Perth team and it’s a privilege to lead a team working for one of WA’s powerhouse brands.”

Alan Baylis joins Carat from leading Perth financial services company P&N Bank where he ran campaigns and media investment as well as digital and data projects and services.

Baylis said: “I’m delighted to be joining a growing team with the capability in house and in the wider group to support Perth clients as they navigate increased complexity in media and digital transformation challenges.”

Giuffre has been with dentsu for over four years in a Client Director role; this new appointment will ensure Carat clients continue to achieve exceptional media investment outcomes through their media lines of business. Giuffre will lead WA Government and other key clients’ trading and investment requirements, with Alinta maintaining national trading oversight with local Investment Manager support.
