Rare finds a new home in the CBD

After almost a year of searching, Rare recently moved into new offices in the heart of the CBD. And according to Rare ECD Brett Wheeler, it was worth the wait.

“We have a passionate team of collaborators at Rare and put them at the heart of everything we do,” Wheeler said. “We wanted this new space to reflect that.”

Located on the corner of Wellington and William streets, Rare’s new home is in a stunning heritage-listed building that’s part of the vibrant 140 William precinct.

“This is a really beautiful space for everyone to work in. The interior has been completely refurbished, retaining all its wonderful heritage features, including the stunning high ceilings and floorboards. Multiple workspaces have been created, indoors and out, so people don’t feel confined to their desks. There are breakout areas, a cinema room and a spacious café-style kitchen. And being located opposite the train station it couldn’t be more convenient for getting to and from work.”

The Rare team are already right at home in the new space and have sourced several new morning coffee options to replace Gordon St Garage.
