Perth Radio Survey 4: Nova 93.7 claims third overall win of the year

Nova 93.7 has gained a big increase in share overall to win it’s third GFK Radio survey this year and a big increase in radio listeners overall. Stela Media’s Marianne Stelmach, who has over two decades of radio industry experience, takes a closer look at the results of the latest ratings period.

#1 Overall – Nova
#1 Breakfast – Nova’s Nathan, Nat & Shaun
#1 Drive – Nova

It’s still a race between the top 3 stations and a big gap between the next 3. Nova has cleared the pack with a 2% increase in share sustaining their dominance as #1. They have now been #1 3 out of the 4 surveys this year. Mix 94.5 have also stayed in #2 position with a slight increase but making the gap bigger between them and 96FM. 96FM haven’t been able to climb back to their #1 position from Survey 2.

Nova’s Breakfast Show had a big increase of 2.7% and is dominating the session. They are also #1 in Afternoons, Drive and Weekends. This will be the last AFL season SEN will be involved in 6PR’s AFL broadcasting.
